    ☐ Valid Marshall Islands Medical form MI-105 Medical OR OGUK

    ☐ Attestation MI-271 form

    ☐ Data Privacy Consent Form MI-273c

    Any applicant wanting to apply for a Certificate of Officer Endorsement or a Rating Endorsement:

    1. Provide the Basic Requirements listed above

    2. Possess a national certificate of competency or pass the RMI maritime exam for the specific position you are applying for.

    3. Sea Service (The amount of Sea Service is dependent on the licensing being applied for.)

  • 1. Submit the applications, forms, medical, and supporting documents to Maritime Licensing Agency via our Service Request Form located on our website or send us an email.

    2. MLA will review the documents and determine if anything is missing.

    3. MLA will process the application through the RMI online portal.

    4. MLA will provide you with a CRA upon request. Must be noted before application is submitted.

    • CRA: Certificate Receipt of Application. This a temporary license that is issued by Marshall Islands upon their evaluation of your application. The CRA is valid to work under the flag vessel for 90 days until your original is issued.

    • If you need your original Marshall Islands license in your hands as soon as possible, Marshall Islands does offer EXPEDITE. Additional Fees will apply. This will need to be noted before application is submitted. Send us an email if you require more information on Marshall Islands Expedite terms.

    5. MLA will handle any discrepancies that may arise during the evaluation process.

    6. Upon approval, receive a certificate of endorsement of license from the RMI authorities.

    7. Send color copies of the original to applicant via email and ship the original license to the applicant. Shipment will include tracking number.
